I presume there's no long-term harm in using the MBP power supply to charge/power a Macbook? I'd like to carry just one supply, regardless of whether I cart my MBP or MB around.

Check the numbers on the back of both battery supplies to make sure they are putting out the same characteristics.

i've heard ppl use the one for MBP for MB before safely and successfully... i wouldn't have thought it's safe, but apparently it is.

you might want to check in the power section of about my mac part to see if there's anything abnormal
