I am currently waiting for the trade in kit to arrive.
Can I just take the phone to an Apple store to turn it in?
I already got $300 for it on Apple Card.
Has anyone done it that way?

Last year I was able to do this and they immediately credited my card. Not sure if they're doing that this year though due to the pandemic. May be worth calling the store to see if you can do that.

I used Apple Card monthly payments and got $450.00 instant trade in for my 11 Pro. I turned in my 11 Pro when I picked up my 12 Pro yesterday.

Yes. You can take it to the Apple store to trade in instead of using the kit. Do that and ignore the kit when u get it. On a side note, I sent my Apple Watch series 4 in when I bought my series 6 and it only took about 5 days to complete everything. It couldn’t have been any easier.
