Resolved Q wireless keyboard locked to imac?

I want to use the wireless keyboard came with the imac for my ipad, as I prefer the USB keyboard.

However, I can not get the keyboard to connect with the ipad. The ipad can see the keyboard but fails to connect, I've also disconnect it from the imac.

I'm beginning to think Apple locked the wireless keyboard to connect only to the imac.

Have you guys successfully connected your wireless keyboard to any other devices?

Try unpairing it from the iMac, first.

Then pair with the iPad. I have a BT keyboard also, and it paired up just fine.

Thanks very much. After deleting the wireless keyboard from Bluetooth settings, It is now connected to the ipad.
