My meaning is that when I scan a QR now with the camera app, now appears a tiiiiny yellow box that wobbles all around that I need to chase around with my other hand in order to take me to the website.
in iOS 14 I only had to point to the QR and the site opened, now is a 2 hand operation and you have to keep the QR code on sight of the camera, but the QR codes in the real word are not in perfectly aligned locations to make it easy to click the QR code.
I know I can use a control center QR scanner but That is not so convenient because many times the QR takes me to the menu of the restaurant that I want to keep open in my browser during the whole meal, and with the control center the website dissapears and I have to scan the code again at dessert time.
Due to Covid I have to scan codes to enter the mall, a restaurant, a store, the restaurants menus, everything requires QR now in Mexico City. Before it was very convenient experience, now I will have to download a separated QR app because there is no option for the camera app to take me to the QR site automatically.
THANKYOU! I just posted this in another thread. The new functionality is stupid beyond belief. I also have to scan QR codes multiple times at the shops and for medical appointments, and trying to do this with one hand full is ridiculously annoying.
If you have multiple QR codes fully in view does it track them all......just wondering if the new UI is to allow you to pick the code you want if there are multiple codes in view.
I only have iOS 15 on my iPad so far and that still displays the link at the top. However...if I open the QR code scanner rather than the regular camera app then it'll actually just open the link automatically as soon as it scans the code.
