I just got an older iMac. From the order number, I think it's one of the 2000, five flavor models. I noticed the first day that I plugged it in and powered it up, that after the computer goes to sleep it has trouble waking. While asleep it will not wake when keyboard is touched, and if I push the power button it shuts down. The unit is running OS 10.4, and energy saver settings are set to default, with option for power button to wake. Any ideas? I would also like to upgrade the hard drive from the original 10 g to something more usable. I've read that the largest capacity drive I can use would be 120 g--is that an absolute, or is there some squish room there? I ask because an acquaintance has a 200 g drive that they coulees sell me, but I'm not sure it would work.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
