Hey there guys
I'm new to this forums. Searched everything. There were topics but none that weren't archived. And none had the answer to my problem.
What my problem is: I have a new iMac 20" (the one with 2.4ghz) and I love to play games. Though, Q3 and ET don't have support for a resolution of 1650x1080. As a Windows Quake and ET veteran, I know these commands by heart:
r_customwidth
r_customheight
r_customaspect (never really used this though)
r_mode -1.
These are the ones for Q3. Now, when set to the right settings, I should have a nice widescreen Q3 with a res of 1650x1080. The catch: It doesn't do it. I have tried vid_restart, adding it to my cfg and everything but it doesn't help. When it's in my cfg it just changes the thing back to r_mode 3. When I lock the file it just changes to r_mode 3 in-game. When I use the commands stated further up it goes back to r_mode 3 TOO.
What am I doing wrong?! Same goes for ET.
