I heard that it's possible to use your macbook pro to replace a tv for gaming on an xbox 360. If possible, what do I need to buy to do this. I also heard that quality was not as good as a tv. I somewhat remember reading this in a previous post but i couldn't find it again.
 
you would need to use a tv tuner that has a component/composite input. i think you buy one from elgato, but they're a bit old. The problem is, it takes time for your mac to process the video data and display it, so there will be noticable lag (i wouldn't use it for fps games, Guitar hero has a lag calibrator tho)
 
ok thanks that's what I thought. I mainly play fps so the last thing i would want is lag.
