Thanks for your input!
Hi!
Here are few tips:
1) You need a ADB to USB adapter since OS X does not have support for ADB even if U have a blue&white G3. I have used iMate adapter with 2.6 driver. Works for me well
http://www.griffintechnology.com/ You find more info
2) Quark works in Classic. After few tries. Well, gives some odd warnings and funny remarks but still. It works, prints etc.
3) Quarks open dialog (like many Classics apps) sees trough OS Xs user folders so no security. I have not tried to fix apps rights to see/write/read or anything like that.
4) If U have connections to databases or U use 3rd party Xtensions to see or do something try to test Quark with OS X somewhere first. I have used Quark 4.11 in OS X 10.2.2 in basic paginating and not in a editorial enviroment so I can not promise it will work for U.
5) Fonts: they suck. They print etc but they are not grouped in families. Like in all other Classic apps under OS X. Suitcase or Fontreserve do not change things: Suitcases Menufonts do not work in Classic mode under OS X. Too bad.
6) I thought that I would never say this: consider InDesign 2. It is amazing in OS X. All Adobe programs groups font families (Type 1). Open Type also....
7) wait for (a year or two

) for Quarks update to v6. See

I´ll hope this helped
