Quark 7 In 2006

Quark says: "In 2006 Quark will release the revolutionary new QuarkXpress 7, that will transform creative development and boost productivity in equal measure. The year 2006 will also see Quark continue to drive improvements in service, support, policies, and partnerships to improve our customers’ overall experience of working with Quark solutions."

Just about fell off my chair laughing when I saw that one.

Well, I'm looking forward to it but in a lukewarm and critical way.

One thing is for sure: they're hyping this as much as they can. And I wouldn't laugh — they're incredibly serious about this and will not go down without a hell of a fight.

Their recent approaches to us have been so out of character that they seem to have come from an entirely different company — which is what they want us to believe.

This is a company — probably with a majority market-share — which is fighting for its existence.
