Quark auto save problem

I have some trouble with Quark saving copies of all my files to a back up on my primary drive. It labels the folders like the following:
TXP000048235482EA74.noindex; chmod 740

I turned off Auto save, auto backup, auto library save, save layout position under the preferences. Still no luck. Any suggestions?

My version is 7.1

Any help out there?

If you don't get help here, try Quark forums. It's a pretty obscure issue...

Try creating another account to see if the problem occurs from there... a reinstall might also help.
