Quarter volume increase gone?

It used to be that you could change volume by a quarter of a "box" (on the popup) by holding Shift and Option before pressing the volume buttons. That seems to be gone in Lion. Did the key combination simply change?

I used to use that a lot under Snow Leopard. Just another of the many things Apple have removed from Lion.

It's super useful, especially if you're amplifying the output a lot, and even the slightest change results in a huge change on the speakers.

Hope they put it back in Lion soon, until then, please report it as a bug!!

Just remember how long it took them to restore "put back" in the trash can after they removed it for some unknown reason.

This one may have to wait until 10.9

*sigh* Oh well.

Irritating thing is I just discovered it less than a week ago. At least I didn't have time to become dependent on it...
