Is there any way to dump to a file? I want to take iSight frames and store them as images. Couldn't find anything with a fast Google search or three or six.

you don't NEED QC to do this. you can do this very easily with Automator. of course, if you are planning to do more with the images in QC then you should explore that more. keep in mind though with Automator you can take a snap shot, apply any Quartz filter and then export very easily already.

i've exported from QC to images and movie files right from the File menu. if you are on Leopard take a look at the new version of QC, i know they've added a ton of patches, perhaps even some Automator actions and/or AppleScript support.

I'm attempting to modify the 'Security' screensaver to capture the frames to disk. Then, I want to set it up; people tend to do some pretty funny stuff to the computer. Automator won't cut it.
