Other Query about postal trade in when iPhone delivery is a month away

So due to many many errors, it took me six hours to finally process my pre-order, and my only option was to pick up from a post office in a months time. Because that location doesn’t accept trade ins, Apple will send me a trade in kit (a box), my query is when will they send this? Is it only sent once I get my new phone or will they send it now?

Apple goes by the trade in date when you’re new phone delivers. It is then after the date counts start for you to send in trade in.
