First of all, I did a search and couldn't find anything.

If I try tethering will I get charged extra? I don't believe I will but I wanted some reassurance first.

thanks,

Just shows how poor all forum's search tools are.

Nobody knows. It's entirely possible for them to detect that you are tethering, so don't get too carried away.

Personally I tethered my 2G phone, and never worried about it unless I was getting near the 5gig cap.

Okay. I don't need it that bad. I will just continue browsing from my iphone instead of my laptop. :)

thanks

If I'm not mistaken, your data plan does say "unlimited data." While we know it's actually limited, you're not doing anything wrong at all. If you go over the "limit" you'll get a letter in the mail. All you have to do is say: "durrrr unlimited."
