question about a macbook pro

im about to get a new macbook pro either refurbished or the new ones with c2d but im wondering is there a huge difference in performance on them , i´ll be doing video editing and picture editing for myself and not as a job , then ill be using it for internet browsing and nothing else

do u think is worth it the c2d ?

if i get refurbished i would be getting a 15¨macbook pro

the refurbished machine cost arround 1599 with one year warranty over 2000 of the c2d with only 3 months warranty

More or less it comes down to whether you want the most performance you possibly can, and that little extra edge down the road when some more apps are 64-bit 'optimized'

If you're worried more about the money, the Core 1 Duo MacBooks are still blazingly fast and powerful.

well i would be using it to edit videos and photo´s since i rollerblade and every year we make a team video .
thats tha reason why i want the macbook pro over the macbook .

Sounds like you'll be more than fine with a refurb MBP Core 1 Duo

The same as it does for regular machines. You can also add AppleCare and bring it up to 3 years.

The C2D MBP also has a 1 year warranty. The 3 months number is for phone support. The warranty is the same for the refurbs and the new models.
