I apologize if a thread of this nature already exist.

But I have a AWS 4 Cellular and AirPods 2nd Gen.

My question is when using them together without the phone and attempting to send a text message, instead of Siri saying “Ok, I will send this” and then you have to look at your watch to see if what Siri is sending is correct.

Is there a way for Siri to verbally repeat back a text message that you are attempting to send instead of having to look at your watch to verify the message is correct?

I use my AirPods when driving and hate having to look at my watch when sending a text message.

Hi. I am in no means an expert with this but did think about this specific use case.

You could just enable tapping on airpods to enable Siri. Tell her; "telll my wifi i'll be late for dinner". And siri would repeat to you, with voice and words what she is sending.

Another annoyance, I have noticed that siri on the watch, does not use my airpods gen 1 to talk back when I am asking her to send messages. She is replying from the speakers on the watch. Pretty illogical I would say, when both the watch and my phone is connected to the airpods.
