As the iPhone (unlike the Touch) can play custom tones as alarms, do you think the iPad (with 3.2 firmware) will have the ability to play custom alerts as well? Or you you think it can only play just the built-in sounds alerts. It would also be nice to have such features as snoozing capabilities and even a gradual fade-in option for alarms. Thanks.
 
One of my biggest complaints about sound and the iPhone OS (as it stands today) is the inability to assign customized sounds to different things. There are now so many things that make our iPhones go 'bing' that it'll be really helpful when Apple allows us to assign individual sounds. I would say that the benefit to the iPad of same would be no less so.

I gotta believe this is coming sooner or later, maybe part of 4.0 if not 3.2.
