Hello,

I am new to app beta tester, and I need some information. What is the risk of being beta tester? What about the risk of giving out device ID? Can developer use my device ID to clone my phone, and track my notifications, sms, calls, etc??? If it is safe, I send my device ID. When/how do I start to test?? After testing is over, I will format/set my iphone to "NEW" because of the camera roll bug. Will setting iphone to "NEW" erase/clear my connection, trace, and information with the developer and beta app?

Thanks in advance.

If you give out your device ID they will be able to remotely access your phone, get all of yoru contacts, and even get a copy of your House Key!!!! The Horror!!!

No, just giving you a hard time. The only thing it lets them do is give you the app for free without releasing it to the app store.

Also, restoring your phone will not change your device ID so you will still be able to continue beta testing if you wish.
