I just bought a 2017 iPad Pro 12.9 and the first replacement had uneven whites in the corner. The second one had a White dot in the bottom while the third had yellow tint on the top which I just noticed today. Now I have submitted the third for replacement again. My question is since we aren’t getting boxed iPads as replacements, are these replacements refurbished or brand new iPads? Because I am going to settle on whatever iPad comes as a replacement next and whenever I enter the replacement lottery I always seem to find some flaw unlike my iPhone which came perfect out of the box.

You can't tell anymore if these are brand new of refurbished. If they're without the box then most likely refurbished.

When Apple sends a replacement iPad in place of your defective iPad, the casing, the display and the battery are all brand new. And the same applies to a replacement iPhone as well.
