Hi, I am currently awaiting my iPhone from the Apple website, and I just thought of something..

When you activate the iPhone and enter your credit card info..does AT&T charge you for the activation fee and the first month upfront, or do they send you a bill at the end of the month?

The reason I ask is because I have about the minimum amount on my credit card to pay for the iPhone itself. My paycheck should be coming in soon and restore balance to my credit, but I just wanted to make sure that they will bill you at the end.

Can anyone confirm that they don't charge your card right after activation?

Usually it is all apart of your first bill. So add 36 dollars on top of whatever plan rate you pay (plus tax).
