When the original firmware (the pre-release) I got on itunes and bought a few things everything went fine. I was prompted sure you want to buy this? etc. etc.. About an hour later got an Ebill from Apple saying what I bought and the costs. All good..

So after upgrading to new firmware I have been on itunes bought a Movie it asked for my approval said yes.. Also bought 2 additional games but was never asked do you wan't to buy this. It just downloaded them. I changed no settings mind you. been 3 days and I have not recieved another Ebill with my pricing or bill for what I bought..

Has anyone else experienced this or are you getting Billed shortly after purchase. I know they are getting hit hard right now, but it seems 4 days later I would have been notified of billing???

Give it more time.

Just as you acknowledged, the App Store is being heavily hit, so likely it will take some time to process billing information.

To give you an idea - I purchased applications on Wednesday night (early Thursday morning) and had not been billed until yesterday (Sunday).

This may be a good time to turn off 1-click billing in your iTunes preferences so you don't accidentally confuse free apps with paid apps. Some people have been complaining about accidentally buying paid apps.
