Question about CalenMob

Anybody use CalenMob? I see that it supposedly syncs both when you open the app and/or when you edit a calendar event. Here's my question:

Say you create a calendar event on your computer for 60 minutes from now. Between now and then, you do not open CalenMob on your iPhone. Will you get a notification on your iPhone of that event? Or, since you never opened CalenMob on your iPhone, did the event never get synced to your iPhone, and therefore you would not get a notification on your iPhone?

Anybody know? Much appreciated.
