I'd really like to get an eSim with a new number for making/receiving calls from my business but am wondering how Caller ID works on that eSim line with AT&T. Does it show my name/number as my regular iPhone line does? Is it possible to change the name so that my business shows up instead of my name? Thanks in advance for the help here...

When have two lines - Business and Personal, you have the option to choose which line to to dial out from. So depending on the line you choose to make the call, the caller ID of that line gets displayed for the receiving party. Now to the caller ID displayed, each line of you will need to call them and have them update it.. I guess it would take several days for that to get updated across all providers..

Thanks for that information. I don't know if the new business line would also show my name but with the new number. I'd really like to have it display a business name but don't know if that's possible.

You will have to call your service provider to update the caller id. Some would not update a business name for a personal line. But you can call them to check. It has nothing to do with dual sim or iPhone.

If you have AT&T you can change the caller ID yourself on the website. A store can help as well but I update mine on the site.
