so I just got my airpods pro(With magsafe) I have not connected them to my iphone yet right now Im just charging them..I dont have a charging mat, just using the 20W adapter plus the cable, when I connected it to the wall I saw a red light appear for a second then disappeared, when I tapped I dont see anything..how do I know when its fully charged? Should it normally take about an hour or so? Thanks appreciate it
Tapping on the case itself, nothing happens..when I press the button in the back, its weird, when I press it for a second it will show a green light..but when I press it again I will see a red light so what to believe?

Thanks so much appreciate the info. Both shows 100 percent charged so that is good news :) Question, since I already have these connected to my iphone, can I also pair the airpods pro to my macbook pro too or is it only allowed to be connected to one device at a time?

They can only be connected to one device at a time, but you can easily switch the device they're connected to (on Mac, just click the "Mission Control" icon in the menu bar at the top right, then click the output icon to the right of the volume slider to choose your output device. On iPhone, open Mission Control and tap the output icon at the top right to choose your output device.

By the way, one note about the info I previously posted. Apple's wording is a bit confusing regarding the status light and the case. A green status light on an empty case (AirPods out) does NOT necessarily mean the case has a 100% charge. It simply means it has enough charge to fully charge your Airpods at least once. If it's amber, then it means it will not be able to do so until you charge the case further.

So would I have to disconnect them from the iphone in order for me to connect them to the macbook and vise versa?
Yeah the way apple describes things is kind of weird..like yesterday when I would click the back of the case and it would be green, then I would click again and it would be red so I didnt know what to believe so then it made sense, the green was because the case was fully charged but the airpods were not fully charged yet
Also the medium airpod tips are already connected to the airpods, are those the standard ones that people use I guess I should do the ear tip test to be sure

When you connect them to your Mac as I described, they automatically disconnect from your iPhone (you don't have to do anything on the iPhone) and vice versa when connecting the AirPods back to the iPhone (they automatically disconnect from your Mac).

The only thing I notice with the airpods pro is that out of the box it does have a rubbery smell, the airpods 3rd gen had a similar smell but it went away I assume the others will go away in time..also I put in the smell ear tip for the airpods pro, still will take some time to get used to all airpods give me a headache not used to it lol

I just bought my AirPod Pros a couple months ago after years of resisting earbuds (I preferred on-the-ear headphones). So these are my first pair of any sort of AirPods, and I'm really enjoying them! They're actually pretty comfortable and stay in pretty well. The noise cancellation is really impressive. I also like that they will read my incoming texts for me. My only complaint is that I can't eat with them in my ears, because the seal keeps "popping" as I chew and it's annoying, lol! I just purchased the AirPods Max from Amazon for use at home as well.

I didn't really notice any rubbery smell to be honest.

yeah the noise cancellation is really impressive in fact too impressive lol I guess it makes sense if you are on a plane or something but in the bedroom watching tv just seems weird..I have to get used to wearing these ear buds never worn them before so they give me headaches sometimes. Not sure if I am putting them in correctly I saw that the medium was too large so I switched them to small its an improvement but still hurts a little in the ears..the airpods 3rd generation hurt too much I guess I got picky ears its all about getting used to it I guess. The smell, it smells like its brand new I guess, got it from target 100 percent sealed..even the airpods 3 smelled too but this one smells a lil more I guess it dissipates in time

I had to tap mine a bit harder to get the notification light to display the charge level.

I thought it wasn’t working for me, either.
