Question about cleaning the AirPods Max

I’ve seen a couple threads in which people have mentioned how dirty the lighter colored APM’s can get (on both the ear cushions as well as the mesh canopy). As far as I’m concerned, that’s to be expected with light colored fabrics and materials. The dirt will just “show up” a lot easier.

But what I haven’t heard yet is how easily they clean off. Has anyone tried wiping them down yet? Is the fabric stubborn? Or does the dirt seem to wipe clean fairly easily?
