When I take my iPad to class and try to connect it to the university's wifi network the login screen pulls up but when I click go it won't sign in. As soon as I click the home button the wifi icon disappears and it's back to the beginning. I thought it was the wifi, and it may be, but my iPhone 4 connects without any problems. Is there anything on the iPad I could try? Could the network support iPhones, just not iPads? Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

I have the same problem at my school. I called tech support and was told the support wasn't there for iPad. It does work on my 3G iOS4. My login screen locks up and I have to click the home button to return back to the home page.

I don't see why the iPad would act any different since it is using Safari to authenticate.

Yeah that's the exact same thing it does for me. I have a prepaid mifi I've been using so I'll just stick with it I guess. Thanks
