I was looking through the directory on my Mac that contains my ipa files and I noticed that for several of my apps there is more than one ipa file in there. Normally when you update an app, the old ipa file is sent to the Trash; however, it appears that's not the always the case. For apps that have more than one ipa file in the directory, is it ok for me to delete all but the most recent ipa. Is there any way the app depends on old ipa files to function properly? I'm looking to clean out unnecessary crap from my computer (updating to Snow Leopard) and I want to make sure that I can delete all but the most recent ipa files for each of my apps.
