So I have a question about docking. We want to get a dock for our tv but the universal dock only charges off a computer unless you get a usb cable ($20) and powerbrick ($30) It seems like there should be a cheaper way, is there a better dock for this kind of thing? All it needs is a line out as far as outputs. We also need like the same thing for over at our barn which also needs to have a way of charging it without a computer. It needs a line out as well.
Maybe the Apple Composite AV Cable would work better since it comes with a powerbrick and a usb cable, with composite out. (this would work at our house but not at the barn since we need a 1/8" jack). I think we should just get an
tv for at home, but there kinda pricey since it's only really a temporary solution. Any thoughts? thanks
