I have attached a Glyph 4TB Atom Raid SSD to my iMac Pro. It tests out at around 850 MB/s with Blackmagic Speed Test. I also have a 4TB hard drive in an external Thunderbolt 2 enclosure. I connect it with a TB2 to TB3 adapter. The strange thing is that with both the SSD and hard drive connected, the SSD speed drops to around 425 MB/s. It doesn't matter what combination of ports I use. A USB 3 drive connected to one of the TB3 ports has no effect on the SSD speed. Can anyone explain what is happening here?
