So I placed an order yesterday on apple.com and got a base 20'' iMac and a free nano. Unfortunately the Apple store nearest to me did not have any base iMacs, only the 2.4Ghz macs. My question is... If I cancel my order with Apple.com and buy the 2.4GHz iMac from the apple store, would I still be able to get the rebate on the Nano?

Both items must be on the same receipt. So if you cancel the online order, you can go to the store and repurchase both the computer and the nano.

Yeah, you could try to contact Apple or the rebate people to see if you can work something out, but I wouldn't hold your breath.

I'm a bit confused about what happened with your order. Did you just change your mind about which model you wanted?

Yeah, I was going to say that if you were going to cancel your order, you'd better do it quick. Those iPods are typically shipped pretty quickly. But, it looks like you already found that out...
