question about future iMac and migration

so I'm pretty set on a 20"er when Leopard arrives in October.

one question...

When I've installed all my stuff on the iMac, could I use the firewire migration thing to duplicate the HD of the iMac (including Leopard and iLife 08) to my MacBook, without having to buy Leopard and iLife?


sneaky but just interested in whether this will work

Yep. At least if you want to get it legally. That's partly why I didn't bother waiting for leopard to buy the iMac since i have a MacBook I'd like to upgrade as well.
