I have a 19" Samsung LCD Monitor that I love (and just bought about 6 months ago) and I am planning on getting a MBP (15.4" 2.2Ghz) in the coming weeks.

If I hook this up to my monitor...will I need to constantly change resolutions when switching from the notebook monitor to my Samsung (since its not widescreen)?

Also...for when I upgrade to a better monitor later...will the 128mb video card be able to effectivly handle a larger monitor size (perhaps 22" or 24" widescreen)?

Thanks!

no to the first question, yes to the second.
