Hello everyone,

I’m currently using 200GB subscription on iCloud, sharing it within my family (myself and my wife as family admin + two kids).

Since I have already reached 170GB I was trying to find a way to increase the space without buying the expensive upgrade to 2TB.

My question is: would it be possible to buy another 200GB from my wife’s account so that the family has a cumulative space of 400GB or the only way to get more space is to go for 2TB?

I have addressed this question at the local apple store but no one was able to give me an answer.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Quite sure your only option, for it to remain as shared for all 4 is to upgrade to the next storage tier. Kind of sucks that it’s such a jump from 200GB to 2TB.

Other option I think is any individual can remove themselves from the storage part of family sharing and pay for their own iCloud storage.
