What kind of hardware does apple use in the iMac? I'm currently under the assumption that it's mostly mobile components (CPU, GPU, memory, HDD, etc)...is this right?

Reason is I was considering the Mac Pro but if the iMac actually uses desktop components maybe i'll go with that instead

Thanks

cpu is desktop. gpu seems to be a mix of desktop and laptop now. ram is laptop. hdd has always been desktop.
