I've read stories that people wrote on this forum about getting an insurance policy with State Farm or Liberty Mutual. However, I've called both and they both said that they don't offer policies for the iPhone at the moment. Does anybody know anywhere else that might insure my iPhone?

I think it depends on the particular agent or insurance company.
Try a few others around your area. Some will do it while others probably dont want to deal with insuring a cellphone.

Square trade $125 for three years covers everything including any accidental damage and you dont have to worry about having a homeowners cliam against you if you make a cliam.

Has anyone files a claim with this? Not sure they realize what they're getting into. I mean... there's a reason ATT isn't offering coverage. Normally insurance is pure profit for them.

I dont know if anyone has filed an iphone cliam with them but this company has been around a while for extended warrenty repair and have extended that to accidental damage coverage for the iphone. The extended warrenty coverage for the iphone is $ 50 for 3 years and to add the accidental damage coverage is another $75 for 3 years. I called and asked about the process they said if the phone gets damaged you send it in and they will fix it or give you your purchase price. You would be without your iphone for a while but most people have a old spare they can throw the sim card in while thier iphone is being repaired. Seems like a good deal to me.

I read on their site they do NOT cover accidental damage. The local State Farm guy said that State Farm in Pennsylvania has chosen not to cover the iPhone but may in the future.

Call them, their regular extended warrenty service does not cover accidental damage but they are covering accidental damage on the iphone. $75 add on charge. I am an insurance agent and no insurance companies that I know of are covering the iphone seperately. You could add it as a floater but that would be subject to your deductible and if you filed a cliam it would go on your cliam report. Not sure about if its lost or stolen give them a call and ask.

It really sucks that they dont offer insurance thru AT&T for this phone.
Even with a $100-150 deductable would be cool.
