Question about internal Airport card in Intel iMac

I want to hookup my DIY cantenna to my imac, but before I open it up, i want to know if it has the standard antenna connector that wireless cards all have. I know the old original 802.11b Airport cards did, I had one for my old iBook. Im pretty much aiming to dissconnect the internal antenna, connect mine, and run a line out to my cantenna.

Is this to technical for you guys or something? Suggestions on where else to ask?

I'm pretty sure the iMac has the standard wireless antenna on it, but getting into the iMac to connect the new antenna may be messy, I have no idea on where it is located. What is your plan on connecting the new antenna (cantenna?)?

I have this DIY waveguide cantenna that has worked wonderfully on other computers that I have tested it on. Im just hoping that I bought the correct pigtail to connect to the wireless card inside the iMac. Getting to it wont be an issue, there is plenty of pictures floating around the net showing how to open it.
