I just jailbroke my iPhone and am pretty pleased so far. In the future though if I want to go back to the old ways, how would I go about restoring the phone to the normal firmware without losing any of my emails on my phone, texts, contacts, etc.

With a JB iPhone, can I still sync it to iTunes so all this data can be backed up? Then once I restore, simply use one of these backups to retrieve the info?

but sometimes some setting get carried over if you restore from backup like if you have hidden icons etc. I would juts set-up as a new phone if I were you. when you do it
