Question about Kindle App and books

Ok, I have an iPad. My wife wanted to use it as a reader for a couple of books, so we bought a couple from Amazon. The books were bought under my account and sent to my iPad. She is using the iPad a lot and I think it's best if I just bite the bullet and get her one.

Question: Can I "give" her those two books? Same household, married...shouldn't be a problem...right??? Don't know how this would be done, if possible.

Ditto. There is a limit how many devices you can active on one amazon account, but I currently have my work windows laptop, my MacBook, my iPod touch and my iPad active on my account. Amazon hasn't asked me to deregister any device yet but I do plan to add her iPod touch so she can read on it. I don't plan on syncing her books to my device or vice versa.

They'll be available to download to each iPad, yes. When you initially buy a book, you have to choose a specific device to send it to, but once the purchase is made, any device registered to that account can go into the Archive and grab it as well.

Just watch it if you try to read the same book at the same time--it's doable, but when you pick up where you left off, you might find out that it's not where YOU left off, but where she did, thanks to the app's wireless sync (which is otherwise a great feature if one person is reading a book across two devices, an iPad at home and an iPhone out and about, say).
