Question about magsafe A1261

Hello everybody, i'm desperately looking for help with my Macbook pro 17 A1261. It has broken magsafe module and i'm wondering is it possible it will work with A1260 model module? It looks the same but i don't know is it "working differently" (different voltage or something?)

Usually you can get an idea if parts are interchangeable by looking for them at somewhere like Ebay since the seller would list all compatibilities in order to maximize sales.

Based on that I'd say "no" but I see one there for the A1261 for less than $16.
