Question about me.com email also going to my gmail account

Hello. I set up a mobile me account back in Feb 2011, and I apparently gave my gmail address somewhere in the process. I never used the me.com email address, but now I would like to. I recently noticed that all emails sent to the me.com address also go to my gmail address. I cannot find any place where this account is linked to gmail to turn it off. I've checked the settings at https://appleid.apple.com/ and in iCloud. Email forwarding is not turned on. Does anyone have ideas where else this might be set? Thanks in advance.

Do you have multiple emails signed up with your apple id?

Yes, my me.com is also listed under "alternate email addresses". I just deleted it there, and it may have fixed the problem. I just sent myself a test mail, and it hasn't shown up in my gmail yet. : ) Weird!
