Im going to buy a Mac Mini tomorrow, and i just want to make sure that I'm not buying an old Model, because i keep hearing that a lot of 3rd party stores usually sell older versions (basically whatever is left). This store i usually buy all my Electronic stuff (equivalent to Newegg in the US), has a sale on the mac mini i7 model with thunderbolt etc.
So just want to make sure if there has maybe been a new model released lately that i should be aware of. I remember when i bought my Airport Express, i bought an older version at some crappy store that was close by me, i didn't notice that until i sold it.
I tried googling models of mac minis and i just see that the older version had a Optical drive and the new one doesn't, but on youtube i see videos of unboxings of 2011 model and 2012 models.
