I got a SE and plan on upgrading to the XR.
I plan to use itunes to create a backup of the SE and restoring it on the XR.
My question is if this method will preserve my logins on the various apps or will I have to re-login to each and every app?

If you do an encrypted backup using iTunes it will preserve your passwords. Just use a password you will remember.

Yes it should preserve your logins.

Yes, the key is to check the encrypted box when you do the backup. It will require a password so don't forget it.
