What is the difference between the Sony Ericsson k608i and the k600i?
they both look the same, or is it the features that differ
please help me

I think they're pretty much identical in features, but the phone companies sometimes differ the model numbers depending on network.

Are you in the UK? The 608i is exclusive to the 3 network here.

Googled both and got:

"The Sony Ericsson K608i is nearly identical to the Sony Ericsson K600i, except that it's available on the 3 network."

Hope this helps. :)

Absolutely - you can buy the handset only but it will cost a fair bit as there's no subsidy. You would be able to get it unlocked for about $20 though.

However, two friends have the K600i and their reviews aren't all that great.

Weren't you looking at the W810i a couple of weeks ago? I really prefer that line. The K6 range is quite old technology.

Fair enough. :)

Glad you got the information on the phone you were looking for.
On a completely unrelated note though, Apple never put a G5 in the iBook. What you have is an iBook G4. Also I have yet to see any of your movies but I liked you in 24 ;)

ok everyone the tables have turned, ive sold my k700i and tomorrow i am getting a Nokia 6280 on a plan with optus so thanks for all the help but the k608i just wasn't for me (besides the fact the guy admitted he stole it)
And now the question has changed, what program can i use to make a theme for the 6280? the only ones i can find seem to only work on pc's and my virtual pc isnt working at the moment

You're pretty well stuffed for theme creation programs for Mac. Nobody makes them.

I had a look at the W900i at one of the local electronics shop today. That thing is enormous!! Probably 50% thicker than the K700/750i. Swivel screen too - UGLY!!

There is theme creation software for SE phones on os X, but no software for Nokia. You'll just have to search for pre-made themes.

update: i got my nokia 6280 free on an optus plan so im happy now
and i also realised that i had my copy of virtual pc collecting virtual dust and finally installed the windows version of the theme creator under windows 2000 although it runs really slow, it gets the job done
but if anyone even contemplates making a mac nokia theme creator tell me i may be able to help and we desparatly need it too
