Hello all,

I am quickly running out of space on my iPhone. Before with iPhoto I would just upload and erase from my Mac. Now that I use Photo and iCloud Drive, all my photos are already on my Mac.

How do I delete the photos from my iOS device without the same happening on all my other devices?

Isn't there an option to only keep low-res versions of your photos on the phone and only have the original-res version of your photos in the cloud? Might not fix what you asked for but at least slow down the filling of your iPhone storage.

I did enable that function. I usually back up my phone to iCloud, but yesterday I decided to connect it to iTunes. Turns out my phone had over 6gb of "other" taking up space. When I tried to get rid of it, the phone bricked to the connect to iTunes screen.

Took a while to restore the phone. But now I have all my space back.
