Right so I was messing about in photoshop and this is my first attempt on what could be a venue flyer/poster.

Do you guys know a better way to smoothen out the light residu from flares you import into photoshop? This was only a sketch
I kinda gave up because I thought it sucked :)

Still I'd like to know how to do it for projects in the future :)

I'm not sure what you mean by light residue.

If you are getting a square of light this can usually be taken care of several ways:

1. Change your blending mode
2. Change your opacity of the flare layer
3. Mask out what you dont want from the flare with a soft brush
4. Make the flare in a separate document with LOTS of space around it, then import it.
