On my XL when I am texting someone and I want to select a pic it is filled with pics from my security camera. I have went into the files app and don't see these anywhere, I really want to get rid of them because I have to scroll mile past them

The default view is the recent view. When you enter the “choose photo” screen, tap gallery, tap the three bars on the top left, chose Photos app, and then you can select a device folder manually to pick your pics from.

Yeah I know that but I want to remove all the pics from my camera, there are a ton of them and I so t see a way to delete them

Go to your security camera app setting and see where it saves your pictures at, and/or just use a file manager to find and delete them.
