With the new Nano out now does Apple historically lower the price on the refurbs of the gen below them? Or do they simply fade away?

Just wondering

The refurbished nano 5G's will probably stick around on the Apple Online Store until around the time the 7G nano comes out.

And since they'll be cheaper than the new 6Gens (the 8 gig refurbs are only $99 last time I looked), with more functionality, they'll sell very well indeed. I think Apple will find the refurb 5G nanos just as hard to keep in stock as the 2G Shuffles, which flew off the virtual shelves as soon as Apple posted new refurb stock.

I bought a 5g nano refurb within minutes of the announcement. Sadly it's still in China:(. By the way did anyone else notice Steve completely skip the description of the 3g Nano during the presentation.

cause it was more like a mini classic than a nano

i actually like the 'fat' nano more than any other nano. that's why i'm getting this one. it's short and small. the other nanos are too tall
