Since owning my iPad I have realized just how difficult it can be to do things on my PC, after spending four days stuffing around with drivers and software and other rubbish trying to get a wifi adapter working I am just about ready to toss my computer in the bin
So I want to make the move to a Mac, my research suggests that it will handle everything I would need to throw at it in the foreseeable future so no qualms there and it's comparative simplicity is very appealing.
Anyway sob story aside I am looking at the iMac 21.5 inch 512graphics and 3.2GHz i3, I get an education discount but as a student my budget is still pretty tight so I was looking at the refurb iMacs. That will save me an extra $200, however there is no option to have iWork installed on the refurb model, will I need to buy this separately in which case the price difference will drop to a mere $70 and I may as well buy the new Mac instead. (Prices are the Aussie ones)
Thank you kindly for the advice
