I am trying to figure something out. Please ignore my ignorance, as I may need some education in this area.
If I want to remotely access a Mac, I can use various software like Apple Remote Desktop and LogMeIn. I am just trying out Apple Remote Desktop for the first time. However, I want to know is there a way to restart a Mac and press a function like "CMD R" and go into Disk Utility or Time Machine Restore etc without logging into the Mac? I know this is a long shot. I realise that at the point of restart the computer loses internet connection. I just wanted to find out if there was a way around this, or if a technology now exists to enable this?
Any idea or suggestions, thoughts welcome. Thank you.
