Hey All,

So I read through about resizing my XP partition. I gave up on the CampTune/iPartition and decided to do it the easy way with WinClone.

However Im having a bit of an issue that im sure someone knows the answer to. I made the image of my XP partition (on a seperate HDD from boot) and erased the partition using Boot Camp. (HDD is now 1 big OSX formatted drive)

I went back into Boot Camp and re-partitioned the drive for 100gb (old partition was 40gb). Got out of Boot Camp (said I would install later, or something along those lines). Went back into Winclone and restored the image to this new partition.

After that was I done the partition was still just the size of the image(~40gb)?

Is there any reason that WinClone would change the size of the partition? Am I taking the wrong steps to do this?

Any insight would be great.

Thanks
Dave

I have not re-partitioned my drive like that before so I am not sure this will help. If you can boot from your restored XP partition, then you should be able to extend that partition within the administrative tools. The tool should be called Storage or something like that (I'm working in Vista at the moment, not sure of the exact tool in XP). The partition should be able to extend itself and fill up the free space. Also make sure your current XP partition is NTFS.

Hope this helps.
